Osugi is a 25 minute, 19 km/12 mile drive from downtown Komatsu, through a number of picturesque villages). We sometimes print this map on the back of our fliers. (Click here for larger map from downtown Komatsu to Osugi)
大杉の地図 こちらは、私たちのいる村、大杉（人口75人）の地図で、網掛け部分は、小松市内からのアクセスです（所要時間約25分、上り坂ありの19キロ）。公演のチラシの裏にこのような案内を載せることもあります。

1. Wood Forum - （有）ウッドフォーラム道場 － 週末を過ごすには最適のこじんまりしたワンルームの貸しロッジで、バーベキューパーティや宿泊もＯＫ － a little weekend one room cabin that can be rented out for barbecue parties or overnight stays
2. Yurugi-sou - ゆるぎ荘 － buckwheat noodle restaurant － 手打ちそばのお店
3. Tokumura Pottery 徳村陶房 - the workshop of a local potter－ 陶芸教室もあり
（徳村陶房と大杉中町劇場の間には、天狗と鬼の像があり、ＯＭＴの作品にも登場している）
Between Tokumura’s and the theatre, there are statues of a Tengu (long-nosed, red-faced goblin) and an Oni (horned ogre). Some of our plays have been based on these characters.

5. Osugi Youth Nature Home - 小松市立少年自然の家 － 以前は大杉小学校だったが、1980年に閉鎖され、 1983年からは主に小学生を対象とした研修施設となる（ハイキング・コース、キャンプ場、リフト付きの小さなスキー場もあり） formerly Osugi Elementary, it closed as a school in 1980 and in 1983 was converted into a retreat center for mostly elementary aged groups. They have hiking trails, a campground, and a small ski slope with a rope lift.
6. Korian - 狐里庵 － 同じくうどん屋さんだが、さまざまな特別料理もあり、その一つが「熊料理」（女将さんが熊撃ちの名人で、地元の山で捕った熊を料理してくれる） another noodle place, also serving bear, among other specialties, which the owner herself shoots in the local mountains
7. Log Cabin－ ログハウス作りで有名な丸喜建設さんのモデルハウス ー a model home of, you guessed it, a log cabin maker, Maruki.
8. Motoya もとや － またもや手打ちそばのお店！ まさに蕎麦三昧！ どのお店も３～４組程度のお客さんを収容可能- ー yet another noodle place - oodles of noodles! Each of these eateries has room for three or four parties of customers.
9. Hosaka - ほさか － 信じられないかもしれませんが・・・、４店目のそば屋さん！どのお店でも山菜や川魚の料理などが食べられる（※以前あったピザとカレーライスのお店は閉店しました） - would you believe it, a fourth noodle place?! All places serve wild mountain vegetables and other delicacies. (There used to be a pizza restaurant and also a curry house in the village, but no more.)
10. Young People's Home 小松市立大杉青年の家 － 「少年自然の家」よりもやや年齢層が高い学生や大人の団体を対象 - like the youth nature home, but geared toward older student and adult groups.

Osugi Museum - 少年自然の家（資料館） － 以前は幼稚園だったが、現在は昔の農機具や生活用品などを展示している（常時開放ではないので、見学希望者は受付担当の少年自然の家に問い合わせが必要）
former kindergarten, then a museum of farm implements, etc; demolished in October 2006; but leaving the photo link for old times' sake; was across from LOG CABIN)
大杉の端から端まで（１から１0まで）は４．３キロで、道路が１本遠っています（道路とは反対の川の向こう岸には田んぼが広がり、林を抜ける裏道もありますが、地図には載っていません）。自動販売機がいくつかあるだけで、コンビニなどのお店はありません。さらに山奥へと進むと、以前は村だったところに何件かの民家や漁場が残っていますが、ここ大杉は、大杉谷では最も山奥にある「村」と言えるでしょう。この村に初めて人が住むようになったのは今から約 600年前のことでした。
The distance between numbers 1 and 10 ( the length of Osugi ) is 4.3 kilometers (2.7 miles). There is only the one road though town. (There is a back road through woods and fields on the far side of the river, not shown). There are no shops at all, though there are a couple of vending machines should one get thirsty. Our village of Osugi is more or less the last village in the valley - way further up in the mountains there are a few scattered houses (former villages) and a fishery. Osugi was first settled about 600 years ago.
